Review
‘Impressive from the moment he walked onstage, Joey Scott immediately established confidence, trust and goodwill with the audience before treating them to a fantastic range of comedy, singing, and musicianship for two hours. With the bridge established between audience and performer, each joke easily hit its mark, naturally and perfectly-timed; each song resonated with and animated the hip-swingers towards the dance-floor; and his virtuoso keyboard skills fizzed and soared in a way reminiscent of Jerry Lee Lewis in his heyday. His musical accompaniment had enormous presence, range and scale, and dovetailed beautifully with his stage presence. An extraordinarily impressive act and a wonderfully entertaining one-man show.’
